The project seeks to maximize the view towards the forest that is next to the house despite the narrowness of the plot. The house sits at a level below the street level so that through a double height space the view opens into the trees.
A concrete wall is the unifying element of the project along with a wooden bridge that “floats” in the double-height space. A light staircase runs through the three levels framed in a fountain stonewall.
The master bedroom is in the third level in a transverse space with views onto the street and into the woods at the back of the property.
